How to Find Books

How to search for eBooks in the Library, how to find and place holds on print books, how to navigate different eBook platforms, and how to request books through interlibrary loan if the Library does not have them.

In the Library eResources tool, you can search for Journals and eBooks within our collection. You can search by "All" to search all collections or by the individual Journal or eBook collections. Start your search by entering a search term or by browsing by letter.

If searching by "All" the results will indicate if the item is a journal or an eBook. The results will also include brief publication data for each item and information on how to access the materials.

If two books are listed with the same title be sure to notice the edition or date of each book.

Click on the link below "Access Information", and another window will open with the book. Keep in mind sign in may be required to access Library materials. Sign in with your CMH username (without @cmh.edu).

Make note the publication data for journals will also include the coverage dates we have within our collection. Most journals will open either to the current issue or an index of all issues.
