General reference service is available to all library users. This service includes brief orientation to the collection, quick telephone reference, and brief instruction in use of the library’s indexes and databases.
Self-service searching of the databases, references, point-of-care tools, and other online resources in the Library are available to anyone with a Scope intranet login and password.
Patients and their families may be referred from the Kreamer Resource Center for Families for assistance. They may also use the Ask a Librarian form.
Reference and literature searches conducted by the medical librarians are available for patient care, research and other hospital-related questions as outlined in the Eligible Users Policy and summarized below:
